Stila:Daily Makeup

Sorry for the delay in posts, life has been a little crazy around here recently. A few people know my obsession with Stila cosmetics. On my most recent trip to San Diego with my best friend I "accidentally" got her hooked too! I just love that it's all so simple and makes your skin look great! I thought I'd give you a little run through of my daily Stila use because a few of you have asked me!

I could talk all day about how awesome each of these products are but I'm going to save you from the novel and just briefly touch on their awesomeness.

 

First, I use the One step correcter. This stuff is awesome because it instantly makes any imperfections disappear or WAY less noticeable. Reduces pores, fine lines, wrinkles, redness and pigmentation. It also hydrates your skin, controls oil and improves the texture of your skin. It's made up of three different colors  Green tone instantly neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes Lavender tone counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look Peach tone brightens, illuminates and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots. If I'm having a baller skin day I just throw this on with some eyeliner and mascara and go. IT'S. SO. AWESOME.

Next, I use the Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer.  This revolutionary oil-free, tinted moisturizer multitasks as a skin-hydrating, skintone-perfecting, SPF-protecting complexion enhancer. The micro-fine light diffusing pigments create a sheer wash of natural color and help diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Its oil-free formula melts right into the skin and dries down, creating a gorgeous glow without the tackiness or greasiness. It's also water proof... so, there's that. I add it over the One Step Correcter almost everyday. I really love that it's SPF 20.

After the Moisturizer, if I need It I use the Stay All Day Foundation and Concealer. What I love about this is you just pop open the lid and there's a little mirror and some AMAZING concealer. I don't use this everyday but if my skin is kind of freaking out I still get compliments on it after using this stuff. It has a unique oxygen technology that keeps your skin hydrated and looking great all day. It also doesn't feel cakey like a lot of foundations do but you can layer it as much as you need to build a really great base. 

Next, I get my eyes ready for eye shadow by using the Smudge pot in Kitten. This just goes all over they eye and keeps my eyeshadow on all day. You can use it in other colors as a gel liner and it works great for an intense smokey eye as well. When I'm in a rush I just apply this smudge pot all over add some mascara and head out the door. It's really easy to have in your bag and apply it any were. I also use it as a highlighter on on my cheek bones and down the center of my nose for an added glow. 

THEEEEN, I use the in the light palette. This includes 10 neutral, super wearable shades.

• Bare - matte ivory shade
• Kitten - shimmery ivory
• Bliss - matte beige pink
• Sunset - shimmery canyon pink
• Sandstone - matte light coco
• Bubbly - pale gold shimmer
• Gilded Gold - golden brown with shimmer
• Luster - dark aubergine with gold shimmer
• Night Sky - blue with shimmer
• Ebony - black

I put bubbly all over the lid of my eye, layer bliss on the outside half of the lid. Then take luster and put it in the crease of the lid and down along the lash line. Followed by Sandstone in the corner of my eye making a V shape and a little long the outer lash line.  This palette comes with a matte chocolate brown eyeliner that I'm in love with, sometimes I switch it out for the dark purple instead but usually stick with the brown.
After all this I throw on some mascara and use the Custom Color Blush in Pink. This stuff is amazing. It looks really intimidating because of the neonish color it starts, but it matches the Ph in your skin to create the PERFECT shade of blush. I mean perfect. It looks totally different on everyone, another reason why I love it so much. I've never been much of a blush girl but I literally wear this everyday. It's SOO great.
